What a game it was, I was glued to the 73 inch tube, players are as tall as me.Don't ask, it is a really kool story of why and how we have such a BIG tv. I am just glad we have it and a room that is big enough for it. Now put yourself in the middle with surround sound, really kool.
I worked on the mystery yesterday, did 2 clues have 3 more to go, nice quilt without small 1/2 sq. triangles. Very modern, will work on it this week as I have time.
Barbara , didn't hear from you, hope your sewing was good with Marge. Hope your eats were tastie. How about that game????

SUPER BOWL PARTY
Good Morning Sweet Sisters and Brothers!!!!! I am back...... Steve is feeling better also , it is wonderful to be amount the living again, what a week, I am not a great sick person. Lets hope all stay well.
I am geting set to start a mystery quilt on the internet at 10am so I am going to be cooking early this morning for the day's game party for Steve and I. Chili and Nathanines Hot Dogs with chips of course.We are such party animals.
Had dinner with big Hank, Lorie and Little Hank last night at Bonefish Grill. Ate one piece of fish and brough the other 2 home for fish tacoes for lunch. Got that day planned.Will probably put a cake in the oven this morning early, Steve loves sweets nibbles.
Fran brought over chicken soup for lunch yesterday with biscuits, really can cook. She went to her sisters for the rest of the day.
It is a heat wave this morning at 30 degrees, can you believe, we have blown through a cord of wood in 6 weeks.!!!!

Great Morning
Feel 1000% better didn't sleep at all last night, steriod shots do that to me so I just rested in bed and in a chair and a sofa. Cleaned the sewing area aqnd put things in order, planned the schedule for next week so we can get ready for our Texas trip.
Steve started coughting yesterday, am starting him on meds today. Have to keep my driver well. I am going to finish Bonnie's doll quilt, bind the Saints quilt and quilt the mystery (NYE). My mystery is ready to go for tomorrow.
I will be taking a big nap today whenever my body deceides when it will allows it. I will be making my hi-fi hands for the game tomorrow, gotta have your cheering stuff, right Barbara?????
Okay Marge I know you are going to be sewing with Barbara so lets chat sometime during the day. Miss you sweet lady!!!

Much Better Today
Just washed my hair and took a shower, being clean is a good thing plus a gazillion meds and a woopie doo shot. I sleep last night YEA. We woke up to rain as our temp shot up to 33 degrees just enought to save us from snow and ice.
We are in for rain all day soooooooooooo have the wood stove chanked up and chili on the mind, haven't been hungry for a week wonder why>
Stay warm and stay safe and be thankful of whatever you have , a little or a lot, some have nothing.

Not feeling better
Last night was auwful, so after being in achair all night, I called the doctors office and was seen at 9:30AM. Beth was great as usual, sugar good, blood pressure 117/65, weight down 4 lbs,now for the other stuff, ears inflamed, throat very red, chest and lungs congested need an xray just to check. Back on Advair puffer, antibiotics, Allegro D, Pearls for the cough, something to combat yeast infection from the antibiotics and a steroid shot in the rump. The last time I took one of those, it got me to Las Vagas and then I crashed in the airport and had to use a wheel chair to the cab. I couldn't sleep for 2 days, lets hope that doesn't happen today or tomorrow.I get this combination of stuff every year about this time. It is my one big SICK for the yearThe Advair will keep me open so breathing will be easier.
I need to be quilting just can't do it maybe tomorrow. I am going to sleep this afternoon and try to rest the rest of the day. Steve had to fix his own breakfast this morning you would have though I cut off his foot. He was teasing me for being up all night I putthe wood in the stove and he got to sleep.
I hope all you folks that are snowed him be careful getting around, people our age breakstuff easily.

Feeling Better
I am feeling better but still have a dry cough that wakes you up and disturbs you 24 X 7. Used an old school treatment last night hot salt water, seemed to help for a while but had to dose myself up with cough medicine. My ribs and back ache wonder if I have plurasice(not sure of the spelling-fluid in the rib cage). May be just sore from some much hacking.
I did bath and get dressed this morning, what else do you do when you get up at 4am. Watched the snow and ice everywhere on TV,ate breakfast and waited for the dog to get up at 6:30 to be fed, then she goes back to bed. I tried to go back to sleep but toooooooooo much coughing.
My husband is so wonderful, picture this about 3:30am I am awake but tring to go back to sleep, I feel these 3 fingers traveling across the bed and he touches my arm , then they travel back to his side of the bed. I asked him what was up with that and he responed with, when he can't hear me breathing he has to check me out to see if I am ok. Isn't that the sweetest thing you have ever heard and after almost 46 years of marriage.What can I say, guess I will keep him a little longer.
I have to miss WW and my monthly church (old folks) dinner today , as I am not going out , 26 degrees and rain is on the way. If I need it and don't have it, do without it. Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

Under the Weather
I started coughing yesterday and it has gotten really worst over night. It is dry and hackie, I have lost some of my fire. It is a good time for something as the weather will be keeping us indoors all week, rain sleet, snow ice ,wind and possibly tornadoes. Wow what a forcast, just means read sleep and quilt.whoohoo
The temp will drop from 65 to 28 this evening, wow what a day. We are going to put the bus in the garage for safe keeping and all cars and trucks will be under roof. Steve will stack the wood box and lite the fire in a little while. Well it started raining already sooooooooo I am inside for the week.
Bro stay warm and get what you need today if you can. If you can't do without.Thats my motto.
I feel terrible for folks trying to get to the dallas area for the superbowl.Ice, snow wind.....My Texas friends are really having winter this week. Glad we weren't going this week, hope all is clear for the 13th when we leave.
Spokane 1 degree, is that cold Barbara?At 1 degree we would hide indoors, we don't have clothes for that kind of cold.Stay safe and warm.
Steph hope you and Kathy are good, What did her test show???
I am going to lay down for a while and see if I can feel better. I have 2 quilts to quilt today so I have to pump it up.
