Good Morning Quilting Sisters and Brother

Another wonderful day of doing nothing. OH I forgot Goodwill hunting is on the agenda for today. What a busy day then I will tie another quilt as soon as the picnic table dries off from the dew. What a life, it is nice to take a break from home every couple weeks. Steve and I really get along well in the bus and the dog just loves it.

All you guys who are still working, enjoy what you are doing and remember they can really get along without you when you retire. I didn't believe that when I was working but the day after I retired 10-19-2002 the program ran just fine. Amazing isn't it.

Jean called yesterday and had a question about the strip pops. Told her to look up lazanaga quilts for fun. She loves to match everything this concept should drive her to the moon.

Spoke to Bro yesterday and Bonnie too. Facebooked everybody for valentines day, so took care of business. Way to go girl!!!!!!!had a great day ate sushi , my favorite crunchie calf rolls. Steve had meatloaf, his favorite with pasta.

Weather is wonderful high 60's-70's during the day.lows in the 50's at night for at least a week. whoohoo.

HEARTS TO YOU!

This was wonderful, nothing to do and warm tempertures . What a life! We shopped at Northern Tools, whohoo, at least Steve liked it. Tomorrow we will be going to Goodwill, whoohoo for Pat.Life is simple when we travel and park.Dixie has walked, smelled and greeted every dog who came by and she napped in the sunshine.

I finished the binding on my saints quilt and started tying the mystery quilt. I brought everything I needed to complete 3 quilts this week. I may run out of things to do.....

I made meatloaf with pasta for Steve for valentines with baked apples for a sweet touch. he gave me a sweet musical card. Very nice. I wore red today very festive..

Happy valentines to my sweet children and my brother!!!! I call or facebooked everyone in my environment, covered it all. For all the rest of you guys HAPPY VALENTINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parked and Relaxing

We are in Spring Texas for the week. Arrived about 4 this afternoon and found a wonderful super market with grest sushi. We had Subway tonight and will have sushi another time. Dixie did great as usual and the bus did great until we got parked, the right Jack spit up its juice all over the ground. We had to get some cat litter to absorb it . The park will clean the spot when we leave. How bad is that????Steve can rebuild it when we get home.

I have made a decision about quilting, no more big quilts, I am instead going to make finished interesting blocks that I can quilt myself. I have so many big quilts, how many do you have to make? I have to do little Hanks LSU and then thats is for queen and king size.

Quilt Is Done

All packed and ready to mail this morning. Now to packing the bus,whoohoo. Our friend will enjoy the sweet and loving feeling this quilt will bring.

My cough is almost gone, I am soo glad that really saps your entergy.Hope I don't get anything for a full year. I am a well person so I really get mad when someone shares their germs. "Stay Away Germs"

I have a busy day, dogs goes for a bath, I am having a morning of beauty, nails, toes, hair, wax..... more packing, supper with Armand and Tayna and covering the cornness for the bus.Tomorrow afternoon we have a party. Busy, busy.

Good Morning Sistas

Good morning, had a job this morning so blogging is late today. I was putting a quilt together for a group of ladies for a friend. It is a caring heart quilt. I will be sending it on tomorrow to another friend for quilting the quilt. It isw such a great feeling helping a freind in need.

It is cold again and will be about 23 degrees tomorrow morning. I really did like cold weather , but I am rethinking the season. As we get older it is hard to stay warm. When I get old I will let you know. hahahaha

Going Like the Speed of Light

I am BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! Got up with a rocket in my pocket, baked a big banana bread and it is coolong at the moment, aroma is really great. When I get back from WW , I am going to do some pumpkin bread for our up and coming texas trip.

Today is cleaning the bus day because tomorrow is putting a quilt together so I can mail it on on Friday. It is a caring heart quilt for a group friend. Friday is a day of beauty with Mell and Dixie with Jimmy. Gotta plan these things,hahaaaaaaaa

The kids aren't coming, snow again in Shreveport so it will be the following weekend and I will be home on Sunday so I can visit with them on Sunday and Monday as it is a holiday. Whoohoo I am missing them. Little Hank has been coming over using my computer every afternoon , I soooooooooooo love spending time with him, he is almost 18 can't believe where has the time gone?????????

I also have been talking to Bro everyday, love those phone calls. We are not getting any younger so family is realloy important, we only have each other and our children and cousin Bonnie.hehehe

Another Beautiful Day

Freezing, gray and damp looking! This is Louisiana Winter what can I say. I am getting also well, just a lingering cough and that should be gone in a few days. Steve is still trying to get there, he is up and going anyway.

House is cleaned, so I can take care of some office stuff for Hank and Mike.Steve is going to Rotary this morning and to Armands this afternoon to explain stuff about the old coach as the person from Colorado is picking it up today. They are downsizing after his heart attack, buses, house, stuff.

I have been downsizing for 2 years and haven't made a dent yet, whats upp with that????? I will be sorting again in a couple weeks, the area I will be working in has no heat so have to wait till it warms a ting bit. haha

I have to put a quilt together this week so I will really be pushing it as we get ready fot a trip to Spring Texas. This is a specila quilt sooooooooo no more hints at this time.
