Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Welcome

Welcome Linda Miller to the possee . thank you for coming aboard. I don't post every day but will try to post weekly. I am really excited about the mystery. made 2 just to be sure, over achiever!!!

Today is cooking day (for the week) potato salad for the first of the week, bean salad for the later week, fresh salad for any time.  Chicken pot pies (big ones) one for now one for the freezer, baked turkey breast, mixed veggies and a pecan pie. Done for the week. the fresh salad is in jars for taking to work. I think i will have time to quilt later today and tomorrow.

I will be selling some sewing machines later next month so i will be cleaning and oiling with Steve for the next 5 weeks. I will be reorganizing my stash of stuff. A lot has to go to someone else to love. I will list things as i separate stay or go.

Have a great week and touch someone with caring.

Hugs Patticake
