Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Almost Ready

Make some hunking meatballs, one will do you, will cook pasta tonight. Staemed the tile floors and vacumned the rest. My back is killing me from throwing 3/4 cord and wood off the trailer and then stacking it. Steve gets the blast 3 rows, I am done actually worked up some sweat, and you know I don't like to sweat.

We are having dinner with Tanya and Armand tonight and will exchange gifts. He is getting hungry so I will be bring some meatballs for him for another day. Food is love!!!!That is that Italian, New Orleans thing we grew up with. Feed them for any reason.

I am feeling good about this Christmas season, everybody made it through the year, our 9 are still breathing even though, little Hank won't be here tomorrow and little Stevie is in north Louisiana with his mother, the rest of the flock will breeze in and out when they can, some are working part of the day. We will be adding a new face Ms. Lorie Babin will be joining us with Big Hank for lunch and then they are off to her family's gathering.
Fran will be leaving to go to Lydia's family gathering at little Lou's home. I will pack my brother a couple meals to take home, and then Mike and Nicolas and Naomi will visit and then it will be Steve and I to put the house back in order.

Christmas day we will be here until about 4pm as then we are having dinner with Jean and Andrew at there new home. I will be baking Andrew a cake this Christmas morning , he loves my sweets.

I going to sit down for an hour and let the 2 Aleve work on my lower back. What was I thinking throwing all that wood????????????????/

Merry Christmas

Hugs Patticake
