Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Good Morning All Lets Catch Up!

It is a rainy cold day in Louisiana. A great day for sewing, cooking and cleaning. Lets start with sewing and cooking and if there is time left cleaning. I have 2 big quilts that need their bindings finished, a tabletopper that needs appliques finished and work on my Louisiana swamp animals. there is always more organizing of my endless pattern collection.

Little Hank is still mending from his surgery but is back at LSU and is doing well. It was nice nursing him back to health. We watched every Harry Potter movie made and then some.

I am having foot surgery tomorrow and am not looking forward to it, 3-4 weeks recovery. Hand work is on the menu.

Today I will cook for the week as Steve doesn't cook and I will want to eat. Great planning.

Will keep you up to date.

Hugs patticake
