Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Home from the Hospital

Well surgery was a breeze, stayed awake took a foot block instead of the knock out your brain stuff. What is not a breeze is not being able to weight bare on the foot. I am not a sit down stay in bed sort of girl. Steve has been the step and fetch guy and he says being the mama is hard work...hahaha I just said REALLY???? The dog is really confused as to who to listen to, she is coping well.We will run out of prepared food tomorrow so we will see if he can cook or will it be caring in.

Mt schedule consists of basin bath, roll to the front, breakfast, roll to the computer, roll to the sofa, tv, quilt, read, sew stare at the ceiling, roll to the kitchen, lunch, repeat the above. My My this is thrilling.

Monday at 2 pm the doctor will change the bandage and check the pin in the second toe and the incision on the big toe. Will I ever do this again, probably not, no pain to speak of just a real sit down, lay down do nothing for several to 3 weeks. This girl has toooooooooooooo much energy for this, hope I never have any thing major. I have been so lucky in life with my health. I know what goes in in the food line and what this body needs so far. Thank GOD I saw the light 30 years ago and stopped smoking and hit the blacktop walking.

The rant is over and have a great day!

Hugs Patticake
