Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Heat Wave 47 degrees

Went out to get the paper with just a jacket, amazing!!! (Just for one day)
Cold weather is on the way with rain first, just regular Louisiana weather. Great day for doing what ever needs to be done in town.

I just reorganized my bathroon and I will never have to buy products for the rest of my life. Body lotions, sprays, scrubs, wrinkle creams, etc.... I would bid on baskets of products at fund raisers and would win so they would be emptied in bins under the sink area, well not any more, keeping enough fpr a full life time and passing on the rest. My friend Jerri G. made soaps and soothers, well opened one of hers this morning, still smells great Jerri, thanks.

Today I am working on big Hanks income tax, getting things filed and added up so he can get it done quickly. This evening I will be covering one of the window treatments in the bus with some new fabric. Hope I like it.

Still binding quilts, sewed while I played football with my next favorite teams, Pitt. Steelers and the Greenbay Packers. What a match up for the superbowl. WHOOHOO

Retreat is finalized so just waitng to see who makes their reservations. It is going to be so nice to spend time with the possie. On the Road Retread Quilters, wish they could all come.

Little Hank and I will be shopping for LSU fabric for his quilt, we saw some on the internet yesterday, wow was it expensive, But this is my first grandson so cough it up mawmaw Pat. heheeeeeeeeeeee

Have a great day!

Hugs Patticake
