Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Good Hot Morning

Can you believe the heat this summer, extra cold winter followed bt a sizzle summer, what fun than goodness I don,t dig ditches foe a living. Sewing in the air conditioned house and sewing under a ceiling fan, thats the ticket. had a wonderful day with Bonnie yesterday laughted and I made her cry for joy when I gave her a scrapbook of our trip to mount rushmore. She lost hers in kitrina so now she can have a new one to look at. I also found a picture of her wedding and gave it to her. I was a brides maid  and I was 12 and she was 15, what a hoot.

I have a quilting class with Jane on Thursday so today I will be getting my fabrics picked out. whohoo!!!!!love that part There are lots of activities being planned for retreat so I have to really keep up. Sounds like fun.

Steve and I will put pictures on the newly painted wall in the living room, looks great good job Michael!!!!!

Steph let me know how Sisters was....

Hugs Patticake
