Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Texas Has Arrived

Texas is well represented this week in Louisiana. Sylvia and Jeff came in and parked their Bluebird at the shopping center Sunday and we met them for lunch. Nice visit, as soon as we dropped them off to leave Shirley and Ron were parked waiting for us in their Bluebird at the Elmer's Candy Company. We raced over and they unhooked their car and drove the rig to our house to plug in. Of course we ate at the  seafood restaurant that night. Yesterday I took them to get the famous "Louisiana Powdered Sugar" Breakfast treat. We drove around in heavy downpour RAIN. I cooked last night and today we are going to look for birds for Ron to take  a photo or two. Tonight Shirley will be cooking meatballs and spag.

I have made several Christmas tap toppers inbetween visiting.

Michael picks the kids up on Saturday afternoon and I will babysitwhile he works except for tuesday when Steve gets his eye surgery for his "cadillacs".

Armond is having a procedure today to see whats going on with his heart. Pray for Armond and Tayna.

Hugs Patticake
