Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

10 days GONE

Sorry about no communication foe 10 days I have been away in the great North West!!!!!!!! What a trip I had, Barbara hosted me from the airport to Ritzville where Sweet Marge picked me up and hosted me for several days in Star Buck Washington! WE went to a luncheon, picked fresh veggies and cut cat tails on the side of a mountain road in 108 degrees. The weather changed about Wednesday and it was devine temps.

We left for the retreat center in Pomeroy Wash. on Thursday morning singing all the way. The SewNSew Sisiters began arriving that afternoon, the funniest story was Marlyn who got lost and drove up a dirt road in the dark where they are building those gaint windmills. She had us in stitches. What a bunch. Steph and Kathy shopped at estate sales and garage sales, got some awsum bargains. I was limited by baggage size.I know poor patticake. Robbie cooked baked oatmeal and make some supper different salads. I made WW chili and Val brough some killer cornbread for it. Kathy made some spag with shrimp. cream, cheese etc, killer!!! We had breads, cakes, apple turnovers...... too many to mention.

Did I mention we also sewed, made purses from ties, potatoe bags for the microwave, 3 dementional bowtie blocks, glueing quilts together, spray starch points and worked on some fab quilts.

It was nice to go and nice to get home, Steve did a great job with the house and with Dixie. The longer you are married when you have a great marriage the harder is is to leave, the nicer it is to come home.

Thank you Barbara for all the special things you do for me, I love you like a sister.

Hugs patticake
