Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Busy Day

Good afternoon, went to Target and shopped at 7:30am for FF Cottage cheese and Organic Milk. Walked for 25 minutes in the store then checked out. Got to WW just at nine am and checked in and how wonderful showed a small weight lost after being with the SewN Sew Sisters for 7 days, how sweet is that. Listened to the program for an hour then off to grocery shopping race. Covered Walmart for a few items on sale, then to Winn Dixie for bagged salad(Buy one get one free) and some bagged veggies. Next was the farmers market for really nice fruit and veggies for 2 weeks. Next stop is Albertsons for gala apples, along the way trying for find reasonable eggs on sale. Last stop was Piggly Wiggly for canned peas, corn and string beans (bought 6 cases@.50 a can) and found eggs 5 dozen for $7.00. Got home to unload and her comes sweet Steve down the driveway for lunch(working at Hanks today) . He unloaded while I fixed lunch and then it was getting the groceries put away. All done and I am pooped so I am going to get on the sofa with a book and hope I only last awake 5 minutes.

Had supper with Tayna, Armond, Greg and Cat last night, had a nice visit, Armond has been approved for a heart and kidney transplant, he is on the list. So keep praying.

Grands are coming this weekend and I am having a garage sale. Sounds like a plan.
