Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Off and Running

What a way to start your day, no coffee! I hadmy 6 month bloodwork done this morni ng at 7:45 and had a flu shot at 8:00am, took the dog for a bath and picked up Hank's quilt at 9:00am. Came home and went to the store house and sorted stuff foe the garage sale tomorrow morning. It was hot and Steve and I were pooped by lunch. WE had to dump the big fish container and scrub it, I decorated the front of the house for fall and then did the inside the same, fall quilts, fancy decorated fruits and veggies, fall sprays etc, got the picture?? I want to put summer away NOW.

I went to Mell at 2:45 for a shampoo and nails. What a treat, can home and am now done for the day, as we will have pancakes and baked apples for supper.(Fall Supper) It is thundering and raining at the moment so Dixie  is under the table at my feet. It is funny when a big truck goes buy and makes a big noise she gets under the table on a sun shining day.

Looking forward to the Saints game on Sunday, WHODAT GO SAINTS!

We sold the Magnum Dodge yesterday sorry to see it go, it was to low for me to drive and tooooooo fancy, I want a plain one !

Didn't sew today, but will on Sunday, binding is made and ready.

Hugs to you all,

love
