Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Busy Monday

Sewed at 5am, walked at 6:30am, ate breakfast at 7:30, laundry on , tablecloth changed, orded meds for both of us(old people stuff), checked email and bloging! It is now 8:30am. Having lunch with my brother at 11:30 at Cracker Barrel and then more sewing.

What a football day yesterday was, Barbara;s team the Pats won and all I cared about was SF losing and they did, thats because they beat the Saints. Now we have a great Superbowl game to watch. WHOOHOO

The retreat is tighten up and closed . We have reached our 22 limit. Can't wait, loade3d a carton with door prizes yesterday and Mike cut a bad *** 8 foot countertop for my embroy. machine finally I can keep it set up in the house. My new Elna 7300 is a dream, love her!

I am still cutting  up Jeans scraps for Bonnie and making blocks for her to sew together. Really kool blocks. I love strip blocks, all that fabic I have and I play with scraps. Who Knew ?????

My knees are burning today all that wood splitting yesterday, taking the day off today. Just sewing.
