Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Rocket In My Pocket

Cut wood for 4 hours yesterday and thought I would be sore today, not so, walked with ease. WHOOHOO  Thank goodness, monday are usually a killer. Maybe I have made the turnaround..Just spoke with my friens Steph in Pendleton Oregon, am really missing my sewnsew sisters. We are going to spend a week together in July in Sisters at the Quilt Show Whoohoo!!!!

I cleaned the freezers this morning and did the laundry and will call it a day of house work. Going to buy a printer this morning and do some shopping, then it is fabric cutting time. I will cut the quilts I will do at retreat and bag them up. Tomorrow I will cut wood and work in the cottage getting door prizes ready for Retreat.

My new sewing area in the house is soooooooooo kool, thanks Michael for  cutting and finishing my new 8 foot working area. That son is fab.

I will be cooking later today for the week, thats my way of doing it, over and done.

Hugs Patticake
