Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

LSU-LSU-GREAUX TIGERS

Well New Orleans is rocking and has been for a week! So many fun things going on, Saints, Sugar Bowl, BCS National Game OMG, whats a girl to do, have fun and then more fun. Steve and I have split wood for several days for like 30 minute sessions, toooooooooooo old for the all day stuff. Bills paid, house and laundry done so quilting will be my main topic for the rest of the week.

I have the Queen Bees and the Busy Bee  meetings this week  and I walked 1/2 mile this morning with Big hank at the rec. center, a nice indoor track with a great floor. I will walk with him 3 days a week and 2 days with Steve if I can get him up and going. We walked for 20 minutes, 7laps around with 12 being a mile.Whohoo for me!

Winter hasn't really started here yet 4 cold days all total, we will probably gets some in a few weeks.

Hugs
