Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Great Evening

I went to a wedding last night, cousin Bonnie's grand daughter got married, Steve and I dressed up to the nines and went to New Orleans, I know what a surprise no tee shirts and jeans. We had to nap from 3-4:30 as the event was at 7pm so we didn't get home till midnight, you know plder folkd have habits.

Today is an easy day, just pack food and prepare some items to take with us to eat, such as, meatloaf, chicken breasts, chicken salad, and shop for Tony's Strawberries. I have to go to the grocery for some creamer and chips/salsa from the dollar store for the mixer on Friday night. Quilting is packed, clothes are on board......easy day. The last thing I will do is vacumn and steam mop, who wants to come home to a dirty house.

The grands came by yesterday and played for 2 hours in the front yard and ate 2 pizzas, nuggets and pizza rolls while playing base ball. We had a great visit. Made them some pillow cases for Easter of course Naomi wanted Nicolas's never fails, drama QUEEN, but we lovw her.

WW took a back seat, I had the best wedding cake at the wedding, old fashion New Orleans flavor, the best. back on track today. Thats what is so good about WW.

Have a great day and Bro your grass looks good and the dog was happy with a new towel, do the rug this week.

Love and hugs Patticake
