Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

A Week Away

We are enjoying a week away, our last till Christmas. Fuel is toooooooooooo expensive so we will be home this summer. We have gone a lot the last 10 years soooooooo being home is okay. More working around the house with repairs and painting to be done. Thats a good thing.

The weather is great, but it is so dry that the wild flowers are not so great. Very disappointing, I wa so looking forward to this viewing. Guest I will live. Our group starting arriving yesterday with more today and the rest tomorrow. We had 2 great days at Ton y and Joyces. Dixie had to go to dog doctor, had a lady infection, had a complete exam and tests and was issued some meds. She is laying near Steve at the moment getting petted.

I have been hand quilting and reading some James Burk. He is a great crime writer. Tomorrow we will be partying alot.

Will try to post, hello Bro.
