Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Kool Day

Can you believe it is in the 50's, thank goodness, makes you feel great. I have a lot on my list today so am getting a early start, thats my story and I am sticking to it. Rickie the cay is still in the hospital, will check on him later today. He was doing a little better yesterday, heart worms in a cat are different than in a dog they attack the lungs right away. Good luck Richtardo as we call him affectionly.

Dixie, fat dog, is having her after breakfast nap, what a life eat sleep, eat, poop sleep, etc......We love that dog she travels well, just gets up at 5:30am.

Made 3 miles of binding last night, Steve tried to help me wind it, finally I had to make him drop it, he was tugging and pulling, can't do that with fabric, it gets all loppie-loppie. The back of this quilt is stripes, the binding is a plaid and the front is florial  stripes all are yellow , blues and white. This is all left over pieces for a quilt done 17 years ago, second quilt from the left overs. REPURPOSING!!!!!

Sheryl's surgery has been moved to this morning, prayers are in order for her success.

Bro get some gas in your can so Steve can cut your grass.

Have a great day!

Hugs Patticake
