Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

What fun we are having visiting with old friends and making new friends along the way. I have a very sucessful quilt sale today and am happy to get my quilts to new homes. I have a lot of small quilts piececs left to donate to charity.

I have been really enjoying ther cooler weather here in Georgia and am looking forward to Tenn next week. Have a great fall and talk to you down the road.

I'm Back

Well hello, I'm back, we had a great quilt show sat. too bad I spent 3 hours of it in the ER. I fell carring a big quilt and really damaged my knee. Nothing broken but a hemi came up the size of a grapefruit within one minutes, scared the hell out of me for sure. I am on house arrest this week so I have to cope with this as we are leaving on Sunday for several weeks. I have a lot to do. I will be making lists and packing stuff for Steve to take to the RV.

I have 13 Christmas quilts pinned/sandwished so will be tying, quilting and making more bindings. I will keep busy.

Have a great week!
