Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

Welcome Back

Where have I been? At the sewing machine finishing Marilyn's two custom twin quilts and shams., completing the 3 quilt tops I made at Steph's in Sisters Oregon with the posse, making a new interior for the bus(quilt pillow cases, pillows for the sofa, new bluebird quilt for the computer table over the steering wheel, and designed and pieced 5 more quilts, and took 3 trips in the bus. That's my story and I am sticking with it.

We are parked on the Mississippi River RV park in Vidalia La. for a week celebrating Mardi Gras with 20 of our old and new friends. Pictures on Instagram and Facebook. Yes that is me with the puffed limegreen vest and purple hat with big rhinestone pin on the front with wild hair sticking out. You have the picture correct?

Hope you guys are staying warm and sewing a lot this winter. Let me hear from you when you take a break from sewing.

Hugs Patticake.
