Secrets from Louisiana

So glad you have stopped by for a visit. We have many secrets here in Louisiana. We are a quilters haven because of all the interesting things we have in our environment to see, smell, taste and feel. Our flowers are like perfume in the evening and the colors explode in your eyes. Our seafood is the best in the world and is bountiful from the Gulf.

The palette is non stopping.

The Week Is Almost Over

Tthe week has been wonderful. We will be going home tomorrow and will see the grands who are with their Dad for the weekend. Mike sent some great pictures of  Naomi doing her art work. Nicolas hasn't been pictured as of this moment. I am going shopping today at Sam Moon's Yea. We will be having lunch at Pananetta Bread and supper at Crabdaddy's tonight. I just made grits for the community breakfast this morning. A good Louisiana Girl makes grits for her man. This all came about when Shirley from Dallas gave Ron her husband some boiled shrimp from her plate, I was sitting next to her and told her "A good louisiana woman would have peeled those shrimp for her man" she said I am not a louisiana woman and I said we can tell and we all laughted.

This is such a great group. I have completed  3 quilts since I have been here, I know Barbara I am a rocket. Hay Bro hope you are doing well.

Have a great day.

Hugs Patticake
